Heavy clusters of grapes, protected from the late afternoon sun by their broad green leaves, ripen in a vineyard near the famous Valley of the Moon Winery in Glen Ellen, California. As they mature, the young green grapes will transform into fat purple globes bursting with sweet juice that will soon produce the full bodied wine that the Sonoma area is famous for. But now they bask peacefully in the dappled sunshine.
